Watch the OP (you really should watch this one to get the full effect)
I still honestly don’t know what compelled me to do this song next. I’m still questioning why it’s on here. I was gonna post a nice, engrishy rock song next, but then I started watching the recently released anime, Lucky Star. Since I’m in the anime music blogging business now, I of course decided that I had to watch the full OP in case I wanted to blog about it in the future. My initial reaction to the song was “wtf? are you serious? this is ridiculous…”. I didn’t like the song. And yet, when I watched episode two, the song caught my curiosity enough that I watched the OP all the way through again…soon enough we’re up to episode five and I haven’t wanted to skip the OP at all. This is quite odd for me, since I normally skip any OP/ED once I’ve heard it 2-3 times. Including the good ones. READ ON

I want to give you as much raw, uncluttered information as I can…and also pull some of more “interesting” details to the front of this artist profile. So here’s the format I plan on using (with Younha as the sample artist), tell me what you think. READ ON

Watch the ED! ( Note: There are a bunch of different versions of this one. )
To celebrate the opening of Oretachi no Oto, I decided to kick things off with one of my favorite anime songs of all time, Houki Boshi. The song originally showed up as the third ending of the ever popular anime, Bleach. I can remember the first time I heard the song. After enjoying a tense episode that introduced the upcoming fight between Bleach protagonist Kurosaki Ichigo and (at the time) antagonist Ikkaku Madarame1, I sat there slack jawed as the ending suddenly exploded into one of the most rockin’ ED songs I’ve ever heard.
